Kettle / The details
The ground rules.
Use Kettle to practise, explore and make room for something that matters to you.
Effective 24 September 2026. These terms are between you and Mates Rates Services Pty Ltd (Australia), which operates Kettle. Contact: [email protected].
Using Kettle
Kettle is designed for adults. Keep your account secure and only provide material you have the right to use. Do not use the service to access someone else's account, bypass access restrictions, distribute harmful content or interfere with the service.
Learning and AI
AI-generated explanations and evaluations may be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable for your situation. Check important information against reliable sources. Kettle's progress labels are practice heuristics, not a qualification or a validated measure of overall mastery. Kettle is not a substitute for professional legal, medical, financial or other specialist advice.
Your material
You retain your rights in material you provide. Using an import or AI feature permits the processing needed to provide that feature, as described in the privacy policy. Do not upload material you are not entitled to share or process. A university course code alone does not grant access to course materials.
Subscriptions
Where offered, Kettle Pro is an auto-renewing subscription purchased through Apple. The app must show the current price, billing period, included allowances and renewal terms before purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple account. Manage or cancel through your Apple subscription settings; deleting Kettle or its account does not cancel the subscription. Refund requests are handled through Apple, subject to applicable rights.
Kettle Pro is offered monthly or yearly. The price shown in the App Store at the time of purchase applies. There is no unlimited-usage promise; included monthly allowances and daily limits are shown before purchase.
Optional Focus
Focus relies on iOS permissions and supported system behaviour. It is voluntary: you can unlock for today, disable the commitment or revoke permission. Outside activities are self-reported. Kettle does not promise to verify a workout or prevent every possible way of accessing a distraction.
Availability and your rights
Features can be unavailable during service interruptions. We will not describe an unavailable feature as active. Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude rights or guarantees that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable consumer law.
The App Store's applicable terms also govern distribution and purchases. See Apple's standard licensed application agreement.
Contact and disputes
Please contact us first at [email protected] so we can try to resolve any problem. These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
Changes
We may update these terms and will show the new effective date at the top. Changes do not affect a subscription period you have already paid for.
